Catering Supervisor

GR3 (£19,430 to £24,964) pro rata and term time

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the catering arrangements at the School/Day Nursery.  Duties will include preparing and cooking meals for pupils; planning and controlling all aspects of the service including costing, stocktaking and keeping appropriate records.  Experience of cooking for large numbers is essential, along with some supervisory experience. An up to date Level 3 Food Safety Certificate is required. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Mobile Catering Supervisor

GR3 (£19,430 to £24,964) pro rata and term time

This post requires a motivated, experienced Mobile Catering Supervisor to manage the catering service to pupils, staff and visitors. You must have a good knowledge of large scale catering and be able to cook with fresh ingredients from scratch for up to 400 meals daily. You should have the skills to prepare, cook and present nutritionally balanced meals to a high standard.  You must be capable of controlling all aspects of the service to include financial accountability and demonstrate excellent skills in communication and management to enable the smooth and efficient running of any unit you could be running at short notice. Own transport is essential for which mileage will be paid. Person appointed must be available during all of term time as additional work could be offered for which payment will be made. An up to date Level 3 Food Safety Certificate is required. Deputy Catering Supervisor

You will deputise the Catering Supervisor and assist in the day-to-day management of the catering arrangements at the School. Duties will include preparing and cooking meals for pupils; planning and controlling all aspects of the service including costing, stocktaking and keeping appropriate records.  Experience of cooking for large numbers is essential, along with some supervisory experience. An up to date Level 3 Food Safety Certificate is required. Cook Serve Supervisor

GR2 (£15,807 to £18,746) pro rata and term time

You will be responsible for the day-to-day catering arrangements at the School and will oversee the regeneration of food to produce meals. Some supervisory experience is required as is a sound knowledge of catering practices. An up to date Level 3 Food Safety Certificate is required. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

General Assistant

GR1 (£15,014 – £15,613) pro rata and term time (The minimum pay with the Living Wage enhancement is £8.45 per hour).

You will assist in the basic preparation of food and refreshments, which may include some cooking and cleaning of the kitchen/dining rooms and kitchen equipment. Your duties will include the preparation of dining rooms including the erection and dismantling of dining room furniture where necessary. An up to date Level 2 Food Safety Certificate is required. Duties may include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and buffing, in and out of term-time. Full training given. Unless otherwise stated you would work to the Cityserve cleaning programme.
